Key Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Social Work or Counseling required; Masters degree preferred for deeper expertise. Current State Counselor License (LPC, LCSW, LMSW, LAC) is mandatory. Prior experience supporting K-12 students in a school or similar setting is valued. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. A compassionate approach to supporting the needs of children and adolescents.

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver individual and group counseling for K-12 students, promoting their academic achievement and emotional well-being. Assess student needs, create intervention plans, and offer crisis support as necessary. Collaborate with educators, school staff, and families to develop strategies that address students social, emotional, and behavioral needs. Maintain accurate records and contribute to a safe, supportive learning environment. Participate in school-wide initiatives and professional development activities.
