Step into a pivotal role supporting the well-being and development of students as a School Counselor for the upcoming 26/27 academic year. This full-time, onsite contract position offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Youll work closely within a single school setting, providing comprehensive counseling services and collaborating with educational teams to ensure every student receives the support they need to thrive.

Key responsibilities include:

Providing counseling and guidance to students across K12, addressing academic, emotional, and social development Supporting and participating in IEP meetings as a valuable team member Conducting and completing assessments related to student needs and progress Working collaboratively with faculty, staff, and parents to foster a positive learning environment Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines Required qualifications and experience: Active California School Counselor license Valid Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential Experience in a K12 setting preferred Strong communication, assessment, and organizational skills Passion for fostering student growth and success This position is full time (35 hours per week, Monday through Friday), beginning in August and extending through the end of the school year in June.
