This contract opportunity offers stable, full-time hours throughout the academic year, allowing you to build strong relationships and see your impact firsthand. You will spend 35 hours per week on-site, Monday through Friday, delivering individualized services and collaborating closely with the school community. Your expertise will help guide students emotional, social, and academic development, while also supporting school-wide goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide counseling services to K-12 students based on their individual and group needs Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings, supporting students educational plans Conduct counseling-related assessments and contribute to comprehensive student evaluations Maintain records, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with state and district policies Serve as a resource for staff and parents, offering strategies and support for student success

Qualifications:

Valid CA School Counselor license PPS (Pupil Personnel Services) credential (required) Experience working with elementary, middle, and high school students preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills
