Range:

$63,111 - $111,816 annually for counselors new to the District, based on education and experience. Salary for current District employees based on current placement on the salary schedule. Comprehensive health, dental, vision and family benefits, including employee life insurance.

Qualifications:

Valid Pupil Personnel Services Credential Other demonstrated qualities/abilities should include:

• Familiarity with and willingness to work within the framework of the National Counseling Standards
• Willingness and ability to assume leadership in the development of student academic, career, and personal/social competencies
• Strong desire to work in the high school setting with a diverse population of learners
• Experience in working with small groups for counseling
• Ability and willingness to work enthusiastically and productively as part of a team
• Demonstrated experience in working with at risk students
• Competency with computer technology and database applications in a Windows and Google environment
• Demonstrated ability to make large and small group presentations in an enthusiastic and effective manner
• Duties may vary from time to time, requiring increased workloads at certain times in the school year
