Job Description

Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract An exciting contract opportunity is available for a Paraprofessional to provide dedicated support in a 1:1 role with a student. This position is set to begin as soon as possible and is anticipated to extend through December 22, 2026, with the possibility of further extension. This assignment is connected to a maternity leave coverage and will give you the chance to make a measurable difference in a student's school experience.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Experience working as a paraprofessional in a school setting Comfort and skill supporting individual students with unique needs Credentialed candidates are strongly preferred and will be prioritized in the hiring process Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach Ability to adapt to the needs of students and the learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one support to an assigned student throughout the school day Assist with classroom activities, learning tasks, and social integration Implement teacher-developed strategies and plans to help the student succeed Monitor and document the student's progress Support the student's independence and engagement in academic and social activities Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure the student's needs are met This contract role offers the security of a set assignment through late 2026, with potential for extension as needs evolve.
