Desired Skills & Experience:

Valid and current Counselor certification or license appropriate for school settings Experience or a strong interest in K-12 student counseling, academic and emotional support Ability to engage students across diverse backgrounds with empathy and professionalism Skilled in maintaining confidentiality, handling sensitive information, and following ethical guidelines Strong organizational talents and time management to manage a caseload (final details coming soon) Comfort using both in-person and digital platforms for student services

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver effective counseling services to students in academic, social, and emotional domains Conduct individual and small group sessions, addressing the unique challenges students face Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to foster student success Promote positive behaviors, problem-solving, and healthy decision-making Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation as required by the grant Support the creation, adaptation, and refinement of counseling programs as the initiative develops This contract-based position offers you an exciting chance to play a pivotal part in a forward-thinking, student-centered initiativeplus the satisfaction of knowing your work is foundational to its success.
