Key Qualifications:

Current and valid counseling certification or licensure as required by the state Previous experience working as a School Counselor or in a related counseling environment, preferably within educational settings Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds Ability to demonstrate confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical practices Skilled in crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and providing emotional support to students Comfortable collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide individual and group counseling services to address personal, academic, and social concerns Develop, implement, and monitor intervention plans that meet the unique needs of students Assist with conflict resolution and crisis management as needed Act as an advocate for students wellbeing and promote a safe, inclusive learning environment Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to assess needs and recommend strategies for success Maintain accurate records and participate in meetings as required for student support
