Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated School Counselor to join our team. The School Counselor will provide support and guidance to students, addressing their academic performance, social development, and emotional well-being.
Duties:
  • Conduct individual and group counseling sessions with students
  • Assist students in developing academic and career goals
  • Provide behavioral health support and conflict management strategies
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create a supportive environment for students
  • Educate students on topics such as behavior management and social skills
  • Offer specialized counseling services for child welfare and special education needs
  • Provide academic advising and support for students' educational success
  • Conduct Christian counseling sessions for students seeking spiritual guidance
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in School Counseling or related field
  • State licensure or certification as a School Counselor
  • Experience in individual and group counseling within an educational setting
  • Knowledge of behavioral health practices and social work principles
  • Familiarity with child welfare systems and special education programs
  • Strong skills in conflict management and behavior management techniques
  • Ability to provide academic advising tailored to student needs
