Spanish-English Bilingual School Counselor - Churchville, IL ProCare Therapy is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Spanish-English Bilingual School Counselor to provide maternity leave coverage for a supportive school district in Churchville, Illinois . This is a full-time, onsite opportunity serving students in grades 6-8 beginning August 11, 2026, through November 16, 2026 . Grade Levels:
6th-8th Grade Responsibilities Provide individual and group counseling services to middle school students. Support students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers to promote student success. Participate in student support meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions. Assist with crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and student wellness initiatives. Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) and district requirements. Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment while effectively communicating with both English- and Spanish-speaking students and families. Qualifications Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Counselor endorsement is required. Spanish-English bilingual proficiency is required. Master's degree in School Counseling or a related field. Previous school-based counseling experience preferred. Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
