Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Masters Degree in School Counseling is required Proven competency in basic counseling techniques Strong management and leadership abilities Adept at working one-on-one, with small groups, classroom groups, and in collaborative teams Exceptional oral and written communication skills Well-organized and adept at problem solving Capable of analyzing existing processes and introducing effective improvements

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver counseling support to students individually, in groups, or classrooms Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create holistic support plans Develop and implement intervention strategies for academic, emotional, and social concerns Facilitate workshops and presentations on relevant topics for students and school staff Keep thorough and confidential records in line with ethical standards Evaluate and enhance current counseling processes to maximize student achievement and well-being
