Public Health Delta & Menominee Counties is seeking a part-time Breastfeeding Peer Counselor for the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program. The Peer Counselor is a paraprofessional support person who provides basic breastfeeding information, encouragement, and support to pregnant and breastfeeding clients as they begin and continue breastfeeding. Qualifications Personal breastfeeding experience is required. Current or former WIC client preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to attend state-required training sessions and conferences. High school diploma. Valid Michigan driver's license.
