Qualifications:

Masters degree in school counseling or a closely related field Current School Social Worker license through PELSB (Minnesota) Demonstrated ability to work effectively with elementary-aged children Bilingual or Spanish-speaking skills are a strong plus

Responsibilities:

Deliver school counseling services for elementary students across two buildings, adapting programming to diverse student needs Foster healthy social, emotional, and academic growth Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success Provide group and individual counseling sessions as needed Serve as a resource for school-wide initiatives and student interventions Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive school culture Develop and implement support plans, addressing behavioral or social challenges
