This full-time contract position runs from 7:30am to 3:30pm, serving a caseload of approximately 500 students across both general education and special education settings. Youll be welcomed into a role where you'll support a range of student needssome may only require brief consultations throughout the year, ensuring your resources are allocated where most needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

Current state licensure or certification as a school counselor Previous experience in a K-12 environment preferred Ability to address the academic, social, and emotional needs of students Strong communication skills for collaborating with staff, students, and families Organizational skills to manage a large caseload efficiently Compassion and adaptability to support students from varied backgrounds

Key Responsibilities:

Provide school counseling services for both general and special education students Facilitate individual and small group sessions based on student needs Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop support strategies Consult with external agencies as needed to refer students for specialized help Maintain accurate records and comply with all confidentiality regulations Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support plans
