An Academic or Guidance Counselor provides guidance to students in elementary, middle and high schools to help them succeed academically and socially. Works with school teachers and administrators to address problems that affect student performance, and identifies resources for students and families. Helps high school students to plan academic course work and advises on the college search and application process.

Immediate Opening Position Information:
12-Month position, 20 Paid holidays, 15 Vacation days, 18 Sick days, 4 Personal Leave days and 3 bereavement days per occurrence.Retirement System:
New York State and Local Retirement System (NYSLRS)Health Insurance:
15% of premiums paid by employee. BOCES pays 85% of premium. CEWW health insurance consortium is the same as 15 local school districts.Employee paid benefit options:
