FA NA Job Summary/Basic Function The Dayton Regional STEM School seeks a highly motivated individual to serve as school counselor for the K-5 elementary school. Minimum Qualifications Master's Degree completed by August 1, 2026 Licensed School Counselor in Ohio or able to obtain alternative license by August 1, 2026 Excellent written and communication skills Preferred Qualifications Two or more years experience as an elementary school counselor Essential Functions and percent of time Academic

• Conduct Individual meetings with students and parents
• Prepare and deliver classroom lessons based on determined needs
• Participate in team meetings with teachers Individual and Small Group Counseling
• 30%
• Conduct individual counseling with students/parents
• Serve as consultant to teachers and other staff members
• Plan and lead small group counseling sessions Administrative Support and Program Development

• Support the administrators with organization and administration of state and other standardized testing Professional/Program Development

This position is State Teachers Retirement System (STRS) eligible.
