Job Description
Reporting to the principal of Early College High School (ECHS), the academic success coach is responsible for, but not limited to: adhering to all Lorain County Community College (LCCC) policies and procedures; developing an individualized work plan annually, in consultation with the ECHS principal; participating in the assessment of student academic achievement; participating in discipline-related activities and organizations; and supporting the
LCCC/ECHS
mission, vision and values.
The incumbent will:
be responsible for all aspects of academic support to which assigned; report to the principal of ECHS and student deficiencies and devise a plan to help the student; advise students in curricular and discipline-related matters when appropriate; support student achievement by reviewing course syllabi reviewing student grades, communicating with instructors, students and counselors; and be responsible for specific core-subject intervention. This is a ten-month position approximately twenty-five (25) hours per week.
