An Academic or Guidance Counselor provides guidance to students in elementary, middle and high schools to help them succeed academically and socially. Works with school teachers and administrators to address problems that affect student performance, and identifies resources for students and families. Helps high school students to plan academic course work and advises on the college search and application process.

Job Description

This position is responsible for assistance with the various functions of the Title I school-wide programs at each elementary school. Progress monitors will be assisting with delivering and administering district-wide assessments; review and monitor assessment results and provide feedback to teachers, Title I Instructional Support Staff, building principals, and district administration. The focus is to provide an objective means for assessing students' academic progress and to establish a progress monitoring schedule to closely track students' growth. Progress Monitors assist with preparation of various components of the Title I program.
Pay:
$13.50 per hour
