2993588915-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Seabright School and Therapy Staffing is seeking a compassionate School Counselor to support K-12 students in partnered school districts across the Charlotte, NC area. In this role, you will provide individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and preventative programming that promote students' social-emotional, behavioral, and academic success. You will collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families, participate in IEP and student support meetings, and connect students with community resources as needed. Responsibilities Provide individual and group counseling to support students' social-emotional and academic success Conduct needs assessments and develop student support and intervention plans Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to address student concerns Participate in IEP and student support team meetings as needed Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to ethical and legal standards Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments when appropriate Deliver classroom guidance lessons and preventative programming Consult with external providers and community resources to coordinate care Contribute to schoolwide initiatives that promote positive school climate Engage in ongoing professional development and supervision as required Required Skills School-based counseling Individual and group counseling Crisis intervention and de-escalation Student needs assessment IEP and
