Category Schools - Counselor Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role supporting students' academic, social, and emotional development as a School Counselor in a dynamic educational environment. This on-site, full-time opportunity places you at the forefront of student guidance and well-being, making a lasting difference throughout the school community. The position begins as soon as possible and runs through the end of the 2026-2027 school year, providing stability and the chance to deeply connect with students and staff.

Responsibilities:

Offer individual and group counseling sessions tailored to diverse student needs Collaborate with school staff, administrators, and families to build positive support systems Develop and implement student success plans addressing academic and personal growth Respond promptly to urgent concerns, crisis situations, and emerging student needs Conduct classroom presentations and workshops on relevant topics such as bullying, conflict resolution, and college/career readiness Maintain accurate records and confidentiality in all interactions Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development opportunities

Qualifications:

Current and valid School Counselor certification (state-specific) Master's Degree in School Counseling or related field Previous experience as a school counselor in an educational setting desired Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse population of students, staff, and families Passion for fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment
