Sep 21, 2026 Job Description Interim School Counselor / Elementary (Beginning late September 2026 - January 2027) The Interim School Counselor (Elementary) is responsible for helping students overcome problems that impede learning and assisting them in making educational, occupational, and life plans. This is a temporary/short-term interim position (no benefits). The starting rate for this position will be $225/Day. Contact Human Resources at 787-8000 (Option 1) with any questions. The Interim Counselor is responsible for all duties outlined in the Greeneville City Schools Job Description (see link below) Master's degree in Counseling required. Applicants must have a current valid educator license with appropriate endorsement. Must have strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Must have satisfactory background/fingerprint checks as required by the Tennessee State Department of Education and state law. Must meet health and physical requirements.
