Job Description

Qualifications:
Must have valid Texas Teaching Certificate Minimum three years of successful teaching experience Master's degree in Educational Administration preferred Enrolled in an administrative preparation program Willingness to obtain Certification for T-TESS appraiser and
ILD Certification Special Knowledge/Skills:
In-depth knowledge of curriculum and instruction Ability to evaluate instructional program and teaching effectiveness Ability to coordinate campus functions Ability to interpret policy, procedures, and data Strong organizational, communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain a professional relationship with all colleagues and students Ability to collaborate and coordinate campus testing operations and attend training Major responsibilities and duties may include: Assist in facilitating 504, ARD, Attendance, MTSS, and HB 4545 Evaluate and/or observe instruction and provide feedback to staff Oversee district programs and extracurricular activities when needed Ability to instruct and manage student behavior Assist teachers and staff in implementing universal social/emotional learning and Behavior Intervention Plans Facilitate in de-escalation strategies of students with behavioral/emotional needs Demonstrate empathy, active listening skills and emotional control with students exhibiting non-compliant or acting-out behaviors Facilitate meetings to develop behavior interventions for individual students Serve as a member on the campus SOS committee Plan/collaborate/work closely with members of grade level team and participate in a Professional Learning Community Ability to maintain confidentiality Assist in covering classrooms when needed Perform other duties as assigned by the campus principal
