Job Description

Category Schools - Counselor Job Type Contract Make an impact supporting students and educators as a Behavior Intervention Specialist in a vibrant school setting near Frisco, TX. Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree is highly preferred Valid Texas teaching certification with SPED endorsements Experience in special education, social work, counseling, or a closely related field Background in school counseling, LPC, BCBA, psychology, or social work is an advantage Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic school settings
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs) for students Conduct thorough Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) Participate actively in ARD, IEP, RtI, and 504 meetings to advocate for student needs Collaborate with teachers and staff to support classroom management and crisis intervention Serve as a critical resource for educators, families, and students Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements This engaging, full-time role offers you the chance to work 37.5 hours each week, with a competitive starting pay of $30+ per hour, commensurate with experience.
