Qualifications:

Current TX Counselor credential or certification required Experience working with K-12 populations preferred Familiarity with school-based counseling best practices Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with students, families, and staff Strong organizational skills and adaptability in a school setting

Responsibilities:

Maintain an on-site presence during regular school hours, working 37.5 hours across 5 days each week Provide individual and group counseling to address academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs Develop and implement intervention strategies to support student well-being and growth Participate in crisis interventions, meetings, and parent communications as needed Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to foster a supportive school climate
