Youll work onsite, engaging with a diverse K-12 caseload while providing essential guidance and counseling within a supportive school environment located near Wausau, WI. This position offers the chance to utilize your counseling expertise to positively influence the educational journey of students across all grade levels. As you build relationships and support students on site, your skills will be integral to their social, emotional, and academic well-being throughout the school year.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Valid school counseling certification (or eligibility) in Wisconsin Prior school counseling experience with K-12 students preferred Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities Familiarity with delivering guidance curriculum and social-emotional learning strategies Proven ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individual and group counseling sessions to address academic, emotional, and behavioral needs Develop and implement programs related to social-emotional skill-building, college and career readiness, and conflict resolution Respond to student crises and collaborate in creating safety and support plans Serve as a resource to staff and families regarding student well-being and growth Maintain documentation in accordance with school policies and state regulations Enjoy the rewarding experience of working onsite with a dedicated educational team, making connections with students and seeing tangible results throughout the school year.
