Job Coach - Supported Employment $20-$23/hour | Full-Time or Part-Time | Flexible Scheduling Paid Holidays Health Benefits 401(k) with Match Meaningful Work Help Someone Build Independence Through Employment REACH, Inc. is looking for compassionate, reliable, and motivated individuals to join our team as Job Coaches . In this rewarding role, you'll work alongside individuals with disabilities in community workplaces, helping them learn new skills, gain confidence, and succeed on the job. You will:
Coach and support individuals with disabilities at community job sites Teach job tasks through hands-on training, modeling, and encouragement Help develop workplace skills, confidence, independence, and professionalism Support positive communication and workplace relationships Work collaboratively with employers, supervisors, and coworkers Assist with accommodations and individualized support strategies Track progress and celebrate successes as individuals gain independence Communicate with employment specialists and supervisors regarding progress and support needs This Position Is a Great Fit For Individuals seeking a meaningful career helping others People interested in human services, social services, psychology, education, behavioral health, or workforce development Caregivers, paraprofessionals, teachers, job coaches, mentors, DSPs, or support workers Entry-level applicants looking to gain valuable experience and make a difference Anyone who enjoys encouraging, teaching, and supporting others Qualifications Required Age 18 or older High school diploma or equivalent Strong communication and interpersonal skills Dependable, patient, and professional Ability to adapt to different work environments Preferred but Not Required Experience supporting individuals with disabilities Experience in coaching, caregiving, education, customer service, mentoring, or human services We recognize that valuable experience comes from many backgrounds and encourage applicants who are passionate about helping others to apply. Work Environment This is a community-based position that takes place in a variety of workplace settings.
The role may involve:
Standing, walking, and moving throughout the workday Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds Assisting individuals with physical support needs when necessary Indoor and outdoor work environments Additional Requirements Some assignments may require driving: Valid driver's license 21+ with 3 years driving experience Current DMV report and auto insurance
Conditions of Employment:
