Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Employment Facilitator to empower individuals in achieving meaningful employment opportunities. In this role, you will serve as a vital connector between job seekers and workforce development programs, providing personalized coaching, mentoring, and support to help clients overcome barriers and succeed in the labor market. Your enthusiasm and expertise will foster a positive environment where clients from diverse backgrounds can thrive, develop essential skills, and reach their employment goals. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities, those from underserved communities, and culturally diverse populations. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive employment coaching and mentoring to clients, focusing on their unique strengths and challenges Develop individualized employment plans that align with clients' skills, interests, and community needs Conduct client interviews to assess readiness, barriers, and goals related to workforce participation Facilitate training sessions on job readiness skills, workplace etiquette, and social services resources Collaborate with community organizations, employers, and service providers to create inclusive employment opportunities Maintain detailed case management records, progress notes, and documentation using Microsoft Office tools Offer ongoing support through client communication, follow-up meetings, and coaching to ensure sustained employment success Requirements Proven experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism in a social services or workforce development setting Knowledge of employment & labor law as it pertains to disability rights and workplace accommodations Strong understanding of addiction counseling, social work principles, and case management practices Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client interaction and report writing Ability to work effectively with culturally diverse communities and underserved populations Experience facilitating training & development programs focused on workforce readiness or social services Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and reporting purposes Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, interview clients, and deliver effective training sessions must be available 30 - 40 hours a week Join us to be part of a passionate team committed to transforming lives through workforce development! $18.75 - $20.00 per hour
