In this role, you will serve as a vital resource for students, guiding them through educational challenges, fostering their personal growth, and helping them achieve their goals. Your energetic approach and strong communication skills will inspire students from diverse backgrounds to excel academically and develop essential life skills. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact within an educational environment committed to student success and holistic development. Duties Provide personalized coaching sessions to students, focusing on academic planning, goal setting, and overcoming obstacles. Offer direct assistance with coursework, college orientation and/or career development ensuring students grasp complex subjects. Coach students in developing effective study habits, time-management skills, and goal-setting strategies. Assist students in navigating the challenges of postsecondary education. Utilize TutorBird, our progress-tracking tool, to monitor and record student development. Record progress on student growth through the student success tracker. Provide weekly grade updates, holding students accountable and fostering growth.
