Rehab Specialist RTS Lincare - 2.5 Tucson, AZ Job Details Full-time 4 hours ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Driver's License Full Job Description The Rehab Technology Supplier (RTS) is primarily responsibe for assessing rehabilitation patients, evaluating patient needs, and selecting the proper rehab assistive technology. The RTS is responsible to the client, ensuring timely and accurate acquisition of equipment and delivery. The RTS works as an advocate for the client by building rapport, supporting, reassuring, and educating the client throughout every interaction. This includes troubleshooting for wheelchairs and other rehab products such as scooters, lifts, bath equipment, standers, and safety beds. Maintain a strong professional relationship with clients, medical personnel, vendors, and key referral sources Work with other rehab team members to conduct a detailed evaluation on current situation, concerns, goals, and funding possibilities Physically assess rehabilitation clients for seating and mobility needs, including the proper measurement and patient skills impacting use of rehab Assess the home and other environments for conditions that may impact the proper use of equipment and evaluate for bath and safety equipment Provide excellent listening and communication skills to customers as a part of troubleshooting either via phone or in person Take initiative to contact manufacturers and obtain access to necessary evaluation Participate in the final delivery of the product to ensure proper fitting of equipment and usage training that meet customer and caregiver This includes loading/unloading power wheelchairs, scooters, etc., as well as setting up ramps and loading equipment Complete and process all signed paperwork per Company Provide quality control of equipment requirement
Description Education/Experience:
High school diploma or GED required Skilled in troubleshooting mobility equipment to determine service or parts best fit client Understanding of insurance reimbursement If in an assignment that may require driving, must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record should have knowledge of Microsoft Word
