This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of clients by providing comprehensive employment services, coaching, and mentoring within a vibrant, community-focused environment. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for social services, strong communication skills, and extensive experience working with individuals with disabilities, including developmental disabilities and autism. Responsibilities Develop and implement individualized employment plans tailored to each client's strengths, interests, and goals. Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to clients on job readiness skills, workplace etiquette, and self-advocacy. Conduct client assessments, interviews, and ongoing case management to monitor progress and adjust services accordingly. Collaborate with employers, community organizations, and workforce development programs to create inclusive job opportunities. Educate clients about employment laws, workplace rights, and accommodations related to disabilities and diverse backgrounds. Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and program reports using Microsoft Office tools. Facilitate workshops on social services topics such as addiction counseling, cultural competency, and disability awareness for clients and staff. Requirements Proven experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or other disabilities in employment or social service settings. Strong knowledge of employment & labor law as it pertains to workplace accommodations and employee rights. Experience working with culturally diverse communities and underserved populations in workforce development initiatives. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively engage clients from various backgrounds. Demonstrated skills in coaching, mentoring, training & development, case management, and client communication. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and reporting purposes. Background in social work or related fields such as teaching or addiction counseling is highly desirable. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
