50/hr + $0.76+/Mile Mileage Reimbursement Daytime Hours | 1:1 Support | Community-Based | Paid Training Understanding Needed Integration (U.N.I) is hiring Community Integration Specialists / Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide individualized, one-on-one support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This is not a traditional facility-based day program position. You'll spend your workday in the community helping participants build independence, develop life and employment skills, explore educational and recreational opportunities, and achieve individualized goals. 50/hour $0.76+/mile reimbursement for authorized business mileage Daytime work opportunities Full-time and part-time opportunities Paid training Primarily 1:1 participant support Active, community-based work Professional growth opportunities What You'll Do Provide individualized 1:1 support to adults with developmental disabilities Teach independent living, social, communication, and community skills Support employment, job readiness, education, and volunteer goals Help participants access recreational activities and community resources Transport participants to approved community activities and destinations Implement individualized IPP/service goals Document participant services and progress Promote independence, choice, self-advocacy, and community inclusion Personal Vehicle Required This is a mobile, community-based position . Employees use their personal vehicles to transport participants during scheduled services. U.N.I provides $0.76+ per mile reimbursement for authorized business mileage.

Applicants must have:

Reliable personal vehicle Valid California driver's license Current automobile insurance Acceptable driving record Willingness to regularly transport participants Who We're Looking For We're looking for dependable, compassionate, energetic individuals who enjoy working one-on-one, driving, being active in the community, and helping people become more independent. Experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP), Caregiver, Job Coach, Community Support Worker, RBT, Behavioral Support Staff, Mentor, Paraprofessional, Employment Specialist, or Social Services Worker is a plus. No direct developmental-services experience? Candidates with transferable experience and a genuine interest in helping others are encouraged to apply. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Reliable personal vehicle Valid California driver's license and current auto insurance Acceptable driving record Ability and willingness to transport participants Ability to complete required background and pre-employment requirements Join U.N.I.
