POSITION SUMMARY
Toque Futsal is seeking passionate, dependable, and professional coaches who are committed to player development and creating a positive experience for every athlete. Our coaches play an important role in representing Toque's standards, values, and culture. Coaches are responsible for providing organized, age-appropriate futsal instruction while promoting technical development, teamwork, confidence, discipline, and good sportsmanship.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan and conduct organized, engaging, and age-appropriate training sessions. Teach futsal fundamentals, technical skills, tactical awareness, and teamwork. Create a positive, safe, and encouraging learning environment for all players. Arrive on time and prepared for all assigned practices, games, events, and meetings. Communicate professionally with players, parents, fellow coaches, directors, and administrative staff. Follow Toque Futsal's coaching curriculum, policies, procedures, and player-development standards. Assist with player evaluations, team placement, tryouts, and special events when assigned. Maintain appropriate supervision of players before, during, and immediately after scheduled activities. Properly use, organize, and return all assigned equipment. Report attendance concerns, injuries, incidents, parent concerns, or disciplinary issues to the appropriate director. Represent Toque Futsal professionally at all times.
SCHEDULE AND AVAILABILITY
Toque Futsal programs generally operate during the following hours:
Monday-Friday:
5:00 p.m.-8:30 p.m.
Saturday:
9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Actual work schedules will depend on program needs, location, season, position, and assigned coaching level. Hours are not guaranteed and may increase, decrease, or change depending on enrollment, scheduling, and organizational needs.
MANDATORY MEETINGS AND TRAINING
Coaches may be required to attend staff meetings, training sessions, evaluations, program orientations, coaching-development sessions, and other organization-related events. The dates, times, frequency, and locations of mandatory meetings may vary throughout the season. Toque Futsal will provide advance notice whenever reasonably possible. Attendance and punctuality are expected for all required meetings and training sessions.
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous soccer, futsal, coaching or youth-development experience is preferred. Knowledge of basic soccer or futsal techniques and rules. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with children, families, and staff. Dependable transportation and the ability to travel to assigned program locations. Ability to work weekday evenings and/or Saturdays based on program needs. Strong leadership, organization, patience, and time-management skills. Willingness to learn and follow Toque Futsal's coaching methods and curriculum. Ability to successfully complete any required background check, training, certification, or onboarding process.
COMPENSATION AND GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES
Starting compensation will be based on the coach's experience, qualifications, assigned responsibilities, position, and coaching level. Coaches may become eligible for increased compensation as they gain experience, complete required training, demonstrate strong performance, take on additional responsibilities, or advance into higher-level coaching or leadership positions. Pay increases and advancement opportunities are not automatic or guaranteed. They are determined by performance, qualifications, program needs, position availability, assigned level, and management approval.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The coach must be able to stand and move for extended periods, demonstrate age-appropriate soccer and futsal activities, carry or move training equipment, and work in indoor or outdoor environments as required by the assigned program.
PROFESSIONAL EXPECTATIONS
All coaches are expected to maintain appropriate boundaries with youth participants, communicate respectfully, protect confidential information, follow safety procedures, and support a professional and inclusive environment. This position description summarizes the general responsibilities and expectations of the role. Duties, schedules, locations, and assignments may be adjusted based on the organization's operational and program needs.
Pay:
From $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 23.0 per week
