Type:
full-time True North HealthWorks (TNHW) is seeking a motivated, energetic, and relationship-focused Career Pathways Coordinator to support and expand healthcare Career Pathway opportunities throughout the region. This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about education, workforce development, and building meaningful partnerships that help student explore and pursue career in healthcare. The Career Pathways Coordinator will collaborate with K-16 educational institutions, healthcare industry partners, and community organizations to strengthen career pathways and increase student engagement. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to effectively engage diverse audiences in both individual and group settings, and the capacity to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. This individual will play a huge role in the launch of the Central Valley Regional Simulation Center.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support team towards Career Pathways Department objectives and goals.
- Collaborate on key workforce projects with Career Pathways Director.
- Assist Career Pathways in organizing career counseling sessions.
- Impact the lives of youth by connecting them with healthcare career opportunities.
- Support TNHW Education Department's Semi-Annual Skills and Knowledge Competition.
- Contact all K-16 key leaders withing assigned areas.
- Market programs and services to K-12 partners.
- Schedule and coordinate Director and President attendance at events.
- Ability to commute to and from locations withing a 60-minute radius for events
- Set-up booths and represent TNHW at college fairs and events throughout region.
- Provide additional administrative support to TNHW i.e. answering phones, receiving mail, etc.
- Support President with projects as needed.
- Ability to work Saturdays for events is required.
- Support the TNHW Scholars Program by completing scholarship applications, selections and disbursement process.
- Comply with all TNHW policies and procedures.
- All other duties as assigned by management. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice. Physical Requirement and Work Environment
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds for event set up and outreach activities.
- Ability to travel and attend off-site meetings, career fairs, and community events.
- Work environment may include office setting, school, and community environments.
Requirements:
- H.S. Diploma or equivalent
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
- Intermediate Computer Skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, TEAMs, Zoom, Office 365, Power Point.
- Public speaking skills
- Strong organizational, project coordination and time management skills
- Valid CA Driver License
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary:
