We are seeking an experienced Job Coach to provide job coaching to individuals with autism and other intellectual/developmental disabilities in various employment/internship environments, locations, and with varying schedules and support needs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others reach their goals and a strong understanding of the fundamentals of job coaching.

Job Duties:

Provide vocational counseling and job coaching to individuals with autism and other intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. Work hands-on to support and assist individuals to be successful on the job/internship. Adjust coaching supports, intensity, and frequency depending on the person's support needs. Conduct task analysis, develop and implement tools and techniques individually to each person, and provide the support outlined by a collaboration with the employee, JNCS, and the employer. Provide the necessary accommodations to support an individual with various challenges (behavioral, physical, communication, etc.) within their home and community Support the individual to establish a daily/weekly schedule of activities. Act as a mentor and role model for socially acceptable and culturally valued ways to interact Participate hands-on in all activities Assist and support the person to maintain their own personal safety and well-being

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of job coaching experience in a variety of employment settings. Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and persuasively Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures. Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Job Type:

Full-time Pay:

$20.25 - $23.00 per hour
