•Building Relationships:
Connect with businesses to understand their employment needs and promote the benefits of hiring individuals with disabilities. •Networking:
Actively market and network with businesses to create job opportunities. •Supporting Job Seekers:
Assist individuals with resume writing, job applications, interview preparation, and skill development. •On-Site Training:
Provide initial training and ongoing job coaching support to individuals with disabilities at their job site. •Job Coaching:
Provide ongoing job support and skill development to individuals with disabilities. •Advocacy:
Advocate for individuals in the workplace, ensuring necessary accommodations and support systems are in place for success.Qualifications We're Looking For:
•Creativity and Innovation:
Bring a fresh perspective and creative solutions to the table. •Excellent Communication:
Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. •Problem-Solving Skills:
Ability to think on your feet and find solutions to challenges. •Tech Savvy:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfortable using computer and smartphone applications. •Deadline-Oriented:
Able to meet deadlines and maintain productivity standards. •Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a related field or relevant work experience. •Local Knowledge:
Knowledge of the local job market or connections with local businesses preferred. •Sales or Marketing Experience:
Background in sales or marketing is a plus. •Reliable Transportation:
Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, auto insurance, and be willing to drive own vehicle to various worksites. Transporting people in your own vehicle is occasionally necessary. •Background Checks:
Acceptable criminal and driving checks required. •Availability:
Must be available to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends, depending on the needs of the people we serve. •Work Location:
