Full Time Employment Specialist needed to provide counseling and support for individuals who seek to enter or re-enter the work force and are living with a mental illness or co-occurring substance use disorder and mental illness. The Employment Specialist helps individuals with resume writing, job applications, preparing for interviews, and post-employment follow-up and support. Duties include vocational assessments, individual and group classes on resume writing, mock job interviews, service coordination with collateral providers, and developing partnerships with employers to facilitate job placements. Position requires a BA degree in Psychology or Human Services, electronic record keeping, valid Driver's License and clean driving record. Successful candidates will have basic knowledge of motivational interviewing, person centered practice, and the ADA. Two years of similar work experience may be substituted for college degree. This is a good entry level position for anyone interested in working with unemployed individuals find and keep a job in the competitive marketplace. Hours are 9am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday with occasional overtime. Starting salary $24/hour with paid time off, health benefits, and retirement plan. Application deadline is October 13, 2026 .
