What You'll Do Conduct career interest, aptitude, and vocational assessments and provide individualized career counseling and exploration services tailored to each person's strengths, interests, and goals. Develop personalized career pathway plans that connect individuals to wrap-around services including education, skills training, financial assistance, and employment opportunities. Assist individuals with job applications, resume development, interview preparation, and job search strategies. Provide job coaching in 1:1 and group settings at worksites and training sites, promoting independence and self-sufficiency. Deliver essential skills training including soft skills, professional communication, digital literacy, and workplace readiness both in-person and virtually. Facilitate workshops, study groups, orientations, and group lessons focused on job readiness, customer service, and workplace expectations. Cultivate and maintain relationships with employers to identify job opportunities and educate them on inclusive hiring practices and Goodwill's mission. Collaborate with state agencies, schools, community partners, and natural supports to develop and deliver individualized service plans. Support long-term employment retention through ongoing career coaching, counseling, and follow-up services. Stay current on labor market trends, employment opportunities, and career development resources to inform services and programming. Promote Workforce Development services by attending community events and presenting to small and large groups. Maintain accurate case records, written reports, and timely data entry in CaseWorthy and other required systems. Assist with program evaluation, reporting, and compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Maintain strict confidentiality of all sensitive client and program information. Perform other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For At least 2 years of experience in workforce development, human services, job coaching, or a related field. Experience working with individuals with disabilities (youth or adults) strongly preferred. Bachelor's degree in a human services field preferred; an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Ability to pass required clearances and certifications to work with children/youth in Delaware and Pennsylvania. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or comparable programs; comfort with case management platforms such as CaseWorthy. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to facilitate group workshops and presentations. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; ability to build rapport with a diverse community of partners and persons served. Highly organized with strong time-management skills; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed; access to reliable private transportation with ability to travel locally up to 25% of the time.
