Job Description

The Arc Tampa Bay is seeking a compassionate and motivated Supported Employment Job Coach to assist adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities in achieving meaningful employment. This role focuses on empowering individuals by providing hands-on support, training, and guidance to help them succeed in the workplace. Key Responsibilities:
Work one-on-one with clients to assess their skills, interests, and employment goals. Develop individualized employment plans and provide job-readiness training. Assist clients in job searches, resume building, and interview preparation. Provide on-site job coaching and support to ensure successful integration into the workplace. Collaborate with employers to create inclusive and accommodating work environments. Monitor client progress and adjust support strategies as needed. Maintain accurate documentation of client activities and outcomes.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree in a related field (e.g., human services, social work, psychology, or education) with 2 years of related experience, OR a Bachelor's degree in a related field. Prior experience working with individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities is preferred. Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and adapt to various work environments. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required (mileage reimbursement provided). Why Join Us?
