Employment Coordinator Specialist Full Time Qualifications Associates degree and one year of experience with youth and/or adults with disabilities OR two years of experience in vocational services (in place of a degree) At least one year of experience working with adults with disabilities, justice-involved individuals, or long-term unemployed populations Valid Florida drivers license, and proof of auto insurance Knowledge of vocational rehabilitation, youth transition, and adult employment programs Communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills Organizational and documentation skills Work independently and with diverse populations and support individuals with employment barriers Commitment to professional ethics, confidentiality, and Easterseals' values Regular travel throughout Volusia and Flagler Counties Responsibilities Assess clients skills, employment needs, and goals through interviews and career counseling Create individualized employment plans tailored to each clients strengths Provide job readiness training, including resumes, interview skills, and workplace expectations Build relationships with local employers and community organizations Coordinate job fairs, employment events, and business engagement activities Assist clients with job searches, applications, interview preparation, and onboarding Match clients to appropriate job opportunities and provide follow-up support to promote job retention Teach workplace communication, problem-solving, and professional behavior in classroom and community settings Support youth transitioning out of school through community-based instruction and work-based learning Maintain accurate case notes, reports, and documentation in a timely manner Collaborate with workforce agencies, schools, and community partners Benefits Live and on-demand professional development Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid holidays, vacation, sick, and personal time Employee Assistance Program Supplemental insurance options 403B retirement savings plan Wellness program and work-life balance Compensation $17.50 to $20.00 per hour (based on experience) Easterseals Florida is a Drug Free Workplace (DFWP).
