Job Description

Job Overview Wayside House is seeking a compassionate, organized, and motivated Career Coordinator to empower women in recovery by providing career development, employment readiness, and educational support. This position plays a vital role in helping clients build the skills, confidence, and resources needed to achieve long-term employment and self-sufficiency. The Career Coordinator will work closely with clients to assess career goals, provide job readiness training, assist with resume development, interview preparation, job searches, educational opportunities, and coordinate with community employers and workforce partners. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping others overcome barriers to employment and is committed to supporting women as they rebuild their lives. This position requires excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills, along with the ability to motivate and encourage individuals from diverse backgrounds. Experience in workforce development, career counseling, case management, human services, or behavioral health is preferred. Why Join Wayside House?
