Job Description
CBT Technology Institute is seeking a motivated and student-focused Career Services & Placement Officer to support students and graduates in achieving their career goals. This position plays a key role in connecting graduates with employment opportunities, developing employer partnerships, and helping students successfully transition from training to the workforce. Key Responsibilities Provide career coaching, job search assistance, and interview preparation to students and graduates. Build and maintain relationships with employers in the skilled trades, and technical industries. Coordinate employer visits, hiring events, career fairs, and recruitment activities. Assist students with resume development, job applications, and professional skills training. Track placement activities and employment outcomes in accordance with institutional and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with academic and admissions teams to support student success and retention. Conduct follow-up outreach to graduates and employers regarding employment opportunities and satisfaction. Qualifications Experience in career services, workforce development, recruiting, staffing, admissions, student services, or a related field. Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
