Be part of something exciting from the beginning. We're launching a brand-new Volkswagen dealership in Newnan, GA, and we're looking for a motivated, customer-focused Service Advisor to join our growing Service team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Service Advisor will serve as the primary connection between customers and the Service department. You'll help customers understand their vehicle's needs, recommend appropriate maintenance and repairs, and ensure a smooth and positive service experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Greet customers and professionally identify their vehicle concerns Write accurate repair orders and document customer concerns Explain recommended maintenance and repair services clearly Provide accurate estimates for parts, labor, and completion times Communicate with technicians and Parts Advisors to coordinate repairs Monitor repair progress and keep customers updated throughout the process Recommend preventative maintenance and additional services when appropriate Review completed work with customers and explain repairs performed Handle customer questions and concerns professionally Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage retention Maintain accurate records using dealership management and CRM systems Work closely with the Service Manager and dealership team to meet department goals Follow Volkswagen standards, dealership policies, and safety procedures

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous automotive Service Advisor experience preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Automotive knowledge and ability to explain repairs clearly Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Comfortable using computers and dealership management systems Professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude Valid driver's license
