Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Case Worker to join our dynamic HVAC/R team. In this vital role, you will serve as a trusted student advocate to support success throughout their training journey. Your expertise will help empower students to achieve growth through personalized support, resource coordination, and assist with job-readiness preparation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to play a central role in retention and removing obstacles that may impact attendance or performance. Duties Provide individualized guidance, resource coordination, and ongoing monitoring throughout each student's training journey Conduct intake assessments, identify academic and personal barriers, and develop support plans that help students remain engaged, compliant, and progress toward program completion Maintain accurate case notes, attendance-related documentation, and intervention records in alignment with school policies, FERPA requirements, and accreditation standards Regular communication with instructors, admissions, financial aid, and career services to ensure early identification of at-risk students and coordinated responses to academic or personal challenges Connect students with internal and external resources which include tutoring, financial assistance, transportation support, childcare referrals, and community services to remove obstacles that may impact attendance or performance Provide crisis support, advocate for student needs, and assist with job-readiness preparation as students transition toward certification, externships, and employment Plays a central role in retention, student wellbeing, and overall success of the training environment Maintain a clean, safe, and professional learning environment with light daily cleaning tasks in student-facing areas, shared spaces, also organize materials, restock supplies, and report any facility issues or safety concerns to appropriate department Requirements Organizational skills are key to maintain accurate records, ensure compliance, and retention tracking Excellent communication skills are essential to interface with students, instructors, and agencies Resource knowledge to quickly help students overcome barriers Empathy and advocacy to build trust and support student retention 2-3 years industry experience is preferred
