Job Description

Aumann Auctions is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Auction Cataloger to join our team. This role is responsible for researching, identifying, photographing, describing, and cataloging auction items to ensure accurate and compelling listings for both live and online auctions. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, enjoys working with a variety of equipment and collectibles, and is willing to travel to client locations as needed. Key Responsibilities Create detailed, informative, and marketable catalog listings. Photograph auction items and ensure images meet company quality standards. Record item specifications, serial numbers, measurements, and condition. Work closely with auction managers and clients to organize and prepare auction inventories. Maintain accurate records using auction management software and databases. Assist with inventory organization, lot numbering, and auction setup. Travel to customer locations to catalog assets and assist with onsite auction preparation. Ensure catalog deadlines are met while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Collaborate with team members to deliver successful auctions and exceptional customer service. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; additional education is a plus. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to learn auction cataloging software. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work both indoors and outdoors. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel, including occasional overnight stays. Preferred Skills Photography experience. Strong research and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment. Time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. What We Offer Competitive compensation. From $18.00 per hour
