Education/Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED Experience in the field of employing people with disabilities Skills in coaching and training others Valid Driver's License or State ID Responsibilities include: Fulfill mandated reporter responsibilities and ensure allegations of abuse and neglect are reported appropriately and in accordance with applicable requirements. Maintain compliance with HIPAA, confidentiality, and privacy requirements. Instruct, train, assess, guide, support, and supervise individuals in assigned areas, including the Career Center and PAES Lab. When necessary, assist individuals with personal needs, including transferring, toileting, eating, and grooming. Provide individualized, one-to-one coaching to strengthen job skills and improve individuals' ability to succeed in community employment. Create natural learning opportunities that encourage individuals to be as independent as possible at work and during recreation, leisure, and educational activities. Support individuals with varying levels of work experience and ability in developing job-search, job-development, and job-retention skills. Maintain communication with the Community Employment Services Department regarding individual progress, challenges, and other relevant information. Manage all responsibilities based on the agency's mission, using individual choice, and all appropriate policies, procedures, and regulations.
