CEFS Economic Opportunity Corporation is seeking a full-time Outreach Housing Counselor to help individuals and families achieve housing stability and move toward self-sufficiency. • Recruit and enroll eligible individuals and families into Outreach Housing Programs
• Complete intakes, eligibility determinations, and assessments
• Provide housing counseling, case management, and goal development
• Assist clients with rental and homeownership education and resources
• Conduct local home visits and housing inspections
• Collaborate with community partners and service providers
• Assist with on-site food pantry services as needed
• Obtain HUD Certification within six months of hire What We're Looking For
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred
• Experience in social services preferred with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to travel locally
