State Lead Specialist Duration:
6 Months (temp to hire)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support state case managers on non-confirmed cases. Track these cases in the state's case management system ensuring local health departments are opening, updating, and closing cases as appropriate 2. Audit non-confirmed cases and make suggestions to follow-up on, or close, cases as appropriate 3. Enter and monitor lead results that are reported to the State 4. Investigate reporting issues, invalid results, questionable entries into systems including CHIRP, LDF, NBS, etc. 5. Participate in quarterly testing report reviews with case managers to identify any trends or issues that they need to address 6. Monitor and address tasks related to case management queues (including document review, approval, and closure) 7. Track required fields for confirmed cases (i.e. case status, home visit, nutritional & developmental assessment, risk assessments) and coordinate with staff if missing or incomplete. 8. Assist, as needed, with providing backup support on required daily processes including system approvals, fax receipt and lead result entry.
Pay:
$23.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Application Question(s): Must have working knowledge of laws, rules and regulations relating to lead (heavy metal) and healthy homes (specifically 410 IAC 29)
