Job Description

Overview Monitors, observes assigned patients, intervenes virtually as appropriate, escalates to nursing staff interventions as needed and communicates changes in status or concerns to nursing as required. Reports any safety hazards, participates in team conferences, shift handoff, in-service education and staff meetings. Performs other related duties as assigned. Responsibilities 1 ) Utilizes effective communication skills and active listening, exhibits compassionate and empathetic attitude2) Practices Hands Off communication utilizing SBAR; 3) Functions as a positive influence, role model and adheres to professional code of conduct4) Respects dignity and confidentiality of all matters relating to patient Qualifications EducationHigh School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Minimum Work Experience Up to 1 year preferred but not required Required Skills, Knowledge, and AbilitiesBasic awareness of problem solving and decision-making skills.

Basic awareness of digital literacy skillsBasic knowledge of medical terminologyAbility to deal tactfully with customers, patients, community and family members.

Ability to handle sensitive information ethically and responsibly Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to chooseThe most appropriate oneAbility to function in clinical settings with diverse cultural dynamics of clinical staff and patients. Licenses and Certifications Additional training my be required or provided for virtual platform.
