Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Youth Career Skills Coach to support young individuals with disabilities in developing essential life and employment skills. This role involves working closely with youth to foster independence, enhance communication, and prepare them for successful integration into the community and workforce. The ideal candidate will have experience in special education or behavioral health and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. This position involes school based work. Duties Develop and implement individualized coaching plans focused on career readiness, life skills, and social development. Facilitate skill-building activities related to employment, social interactions, and community engagement. Use behavioral management techniques to promote positive behavior and address challenging behaviors effectively. Collect data on progress and outcomes to monitor development goals and adjust coaching strategies accordingly. Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive support. Maintain detailed documentation of services provided, progress notes, and incident reports following agency protocols. Experience Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities or mental health needs is preferred Background in special education, behavioral health, or social work is preferred. Strong communication skills are essential for engaging with youth, families, and team members. Experience with data collection and documentation related to client progress is advantageous.
