We're looking for a Career & Job Services Manager who is a dynamic leader, skilled connector, and passionate advocate for workforce development. What You'll Do Lead and support the Library's Career & Job Services team across multiple branch locations. Build and maintain strong partnerships with businesses, workforce development organizations, government agencies, and community leaders. Develop innovative programs, events, and resources that help job seekers and professionals achieve their career goals. Promote workforce development services through community outreach, presentations, networking, and strategic partnerships. Coordinate job fairs, hiring events, workshops, support groups, and other career-focused initiatives. Manage grants, resources, and services to ensure they remain relevant, impactful, and responsive to community needs. Train and support library staff in effectively connecting patrons with career and job services resources. Serve as a champion for workforce development throughout Northern Kentucky and beyond. Perform other job-related tasks as needed to support department operations. What We're Looking For A collaborative leader who enjoys mentoring staff and helping teams succeed. A flexible and adaptable team member who thrives in a dynamic, community-centered environment. Qualifications Required Minimum of five years in professional work, including administrative experience. Bachelor's Degree required. Library Masters preferred, or minimum four years of experience in workforce development. KDLA certification (or ability to obtain) at the level required for this position, and the ability to maintain it. Supervisory experience preferred. Demonstrated ability to take ownership of and lead Career and Job Services workforce development program design and execution. Ability to earn Certified Workforce Development Professional certification. Valid driver's license and/or means of transportation to fulfill job responsibilities. Must be able to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends as needed. Demonstrated customer-service experience, patience under pressure, and comfort interacting with a wide range of patrons.
