Essential Responsibilities:
Role modeling professionalism Develop positive relationships with LIFE residents, families, and staff Daily documentation of activities/goals performed Effectively manage LIFE email account and complete required training Intervene verbally with individuals during behavioral incidents Transport residents to and from employment and volunteer sites as needed (mileage reimbursement provided)
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills; strong creative and problem-solving skills; ability to function well in a high-paced environment; proficient with Microsoft Office. Additional duties may include clearing snow and ice from walkways and vehicles.
Preferred:
Experience with individuals with intellectual disabilities or a vulnerable population; background in retail, hospitality, restaurant, or training environments; high school diploma or equivalent, some college or technical coursework preferred.

Job Summary:
The LIFE Coach—Case & Money Manager supports adults with Disabilities, in developing essential life skills. This role focuses on fostering independence and enhancing quality of life through personalized coaching in areas such as household management, hygiene, social behavior, travel, and medical coordination, and Money management.
Required Skills/Abilities:

Strong creative skills Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office and all required software. Provide individualized support to residents based on assigned hours and respond to urgent needs as required Ability to record timely and clean case notes of hours spent with Individuals we support in I-Centrix to meet DDS standards Collaborate with the Money Manager and Employment Team to prioritize resident development areas Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and family consultations Serve as liaison with community professionals and accompany residents to appointments Submit timely service reports, billing forms, and family communications Recommend external services when needs exceed coaching scope (e.g., therapy, tutoring) Maintain clear communication with families under SIL Supervisor guidance Perform other duties as assigned Demonstrate Patience, empathy, and adaptability

Preferred Education and Experience:
Experience with individuals with intellectual disabilities or vulnerable population preferred. Relevant experience or education in human services or related fields may be suitable Team collaboration experience
Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
Ability to lift up to 15 pounds Stamina to support residents' physical needs Flexibility in movement and posture throughout the day
